Presentation

Hop gallery presents 4 jewellery artists from Sweden

Karin Roy Michelle Andersson
claims that ; without a story there will be no interesting piece of jewellery. Her project is a collection of true stories made into wearable pieces.

Klara Brynge makes drawings with her hammer into the silver sheet she is working with. With traditional methods she creates sober and raw neckpieces and brooches.

Gertrud Heinerud has made a group of little beings representing moments in life, both dreamed and real. They all have titles that are important to the pieces like; “Crazy dog with night vision goggles” and “The Pig-cat sings opera in the shower”.

Serena Holm works with ornaments and symbols in assemblage technique. Her pieces can, at first glance, look cute and naive but when you come closer a deeper and darker story is often shining through.
