The pieces represent utopian topographies of heavenly islands, those sanctuaries, those kind of territories that refer to tax havens. That is one way for us to fly in the face of the well-known crisis that everybody suffers. Made from credit cards eroded with drills and files, we try to show in each piece what is hidden, what remains buried under lower and darker layers... Similarly, the viewer, faced to the codified title of the pieces, becomes a treasure hunter. Barcelona: Found in Translation gave us the chance to work together in a meeting point between Valencia and Perpignan, between different languages, in a place that means for both the melting pot of our ideology as jewelers.
