Statement

My practice explores the features and surface of the body.  I am intrigued by the transitional relationship between the body and the object, natural aging processes and the way the body assimilates external influences and embellishments over time.

The main intent behind my work is to invite examination of articles allowed into intimate space, to encourage the viewer to reassess and reconsider the jewellery object in direct relation to the body and to promote expanded definitions of jewellery.
