Beautiful city
I’m fascinated by the fact that everything has an inner structure although it is not obvious from the outside.
In my work I find it interesting to look for structures and laws, and make my own arrangement.
The map I think up for a piece of jewellery may seem to disappear when the jewellery is worn, but the structure remains. I’m not a wearer of jewellery, but an observer, who sees a piece from a certain perspective on a flat surface or on a body.
I make small sketches (1:6) and create the jewellery straight away in the actual size in gold.
I’m fascinated by the fact that, with almost the same elements, I’m still able to explore intrinsically different aspects.
