Do we wear jewellery because there are things important to us we can’t name ?
The french group of jewellery artists Corpus (grounded 1992) lead a reflexion on the unameable.
After having asked psychoanalyst Christian Jeanclaude and philosopher Elisabeth Sledziewski to help them in their quest, Corpus initiated a travelling exhibition showing works of 10 Corpus members and 10 invited international artists.
Together with photos of exhibited works, this catalogue gathers texts of Jeanclaude, Sledziewski, and, a tradition with Corpus, statements from each artist.
