Manon van Kouswijk: Bead the system

"For all I know, the galaxy is a necklace and planet Earth a giant bead." In her latest work Manon van Kouswijk explores the idea of a strand of beads as a cycle without a clear beginning or end.

24-May-2011 - 18-Jun-2011
Kirsten Haydon: ice structure

Kirsten Haydon has explored Antarctica through jewellery and object making.
Her practice has considered the structures and palette of the icy continent's forbidding terrain, its wildlife and the impact of human activity upon it.

01-Feb-2011 - 26-Feb-2011
Laura Deakin: Layered traces, folded spaces

Laura Deakin’s work deals with moments of transition: changes of state, changes of form, changes in the very essence of material. But look closer and the transitions go beyond the material to address other, more poetic changes of state. Natural becomes unnatural.
