| Coming exhibitions | 2010 17th of April Underwaterlove, Schmuckfrage, Berlin, Germany
2011 January, Solo Exhibition, the Appalachian Center for Craft, Smithville, TN | Statement | ana∙tome— Greek, from ana- “separate, apart from” and temnein “to cut up, cut open”
Soft, organic shapes based loosely and speculatively on biology grow and morph, coiling around, sliding on slug trails or rooting themselves like coral. Their methods of attachment or interaction imply a biological function. Some are organs, removed from the body in which they once belonged. Others are specimens to be collected as either pets or taxidermy.
Their forms are softly curving, bulbous, and juvenile in proportion—vulnerable. All of them appear to be in stasis, either terminated in transition or seeking our bodies for shelter until a phase of their life has been completed. Their motives are sometimes suspect, but so are ours.

(...) Of her work Moore writes "Recently, I've been combining forms that I find appealing based on my interests in biology. I'm also interested in small sculptural forms that are becoming more abstractly figural as they evolve. I enjoy what is both repellent and seductive." (...)
