Statement
I live and work in Lisbon. I graduated in philosophy and worked for the last twenty years in advertising as a copywriter and creative director. Both, philosophy and advertising, gave me the taste for a interdisciplinary attitude and a kind of systematically search for new things and feelings. When I begun to work in jewellery I tried several approaches but the aim of materials became my demand and still is. I don’t see myself as a experimentalist although I can hardly resist to tactions, odours or colours. But then… Why do I define my work as “Experimental Jewels”? I like simple ideas and simple solutions even for organic, baroque or extravagant pieces. Above all I’m pleased to see people wearing them happily and beautifully.
