| website: www.agc-it.org mail: presidente@agc-it.org
| Statement | AGC is an organization active in Italy with the aim of promoting and giving value to jewellery as a form of art.
It was formed after a round table held in Trieste on the theme “Crafts, art and design in the field of contemporary jewellery”, where those taking part felt the necessity to get together to deal with problems specific to the world of contemporary jewellery.
The internet site, with news, an on-line journal, information, comments, books, represents a first platform of information, that goes alongside the organization of exhibitions, conferences and forum for an attentive and updated dialogue on themes specific to this sector.
Workshops, seminars and other events are organized, both on a national and international level.
The association is open to anyone with an interest in the development in contemporary jewellery, whether designer-makers, gallerists, museum curators, journalists, collectors, students.

Schools and Universities: AGC will be cooperating with secondary schools, universities and private schools on seminars, debates, etc. on the world of contemporary jewellery. We recently collaborated with the Polytechnic of Milan and the 'Pietro Selvatico' Art Institute in Padua.
Organization of Workshops: Workshops held by national and international lecturers will be organized exploring new creative processes, new techniques in jewellery making and the philosophy of contemporary jewellery.
Cooperation with museums: AGC is considering the possibility of cooperating with museums both nationally and internationally for the organization of exhibitions.

Cominelli Foundation's: Permanent Collection

Senza Confini
This catalogue reflects the nature of the project ‘Senza Confini’ - a private initiative by two makers (Zanini and Sicuro) inviting another five to exhibit together, unconstrained by either the visual identity of the host (in this case, the Museo Etnografico of Udine) or of the organizers. We all felt it would be a nice change to come up with a format reflecting the theme of the exhibition, and thankfully, the group was small enough to discuss. (...)

Obviously we did. (...)
